Heartland Baptist Church of Oklahoma City began in September 2003. We meet Sunday mornings for Bible studies at 9:30 am. Our worship and preaching service begins at 10:30 a.m.
The seeker-sensitive church is one that is sensitive to the desires of the Seeker. "The true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is SEEKING such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." Worship must be spiritual, and not fleshly. It must be in accordance with God's truth, not according to man's opinions, nor the latest polling data of what people are looking for in a church.
We invite you to join us for worship on Sundays. We are a new Southern Baptist church that currently meets at 6205 NW Expressway in the Dance Makers Studio in Oklahoma City.
You will find throughout this website that our focus is Jesus Christ as man's only hope. We are a historic-conservative Southern Baptist church proclaiming God's sovereign grace in Jesus Christ. "And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners." [Mark 2:17, ESV] You can learn more on our What We Believe page.
In addition to meeting on Sundays, we meet for fellowship at various times as well as weekday Bible studies. "That which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ." [1 John 1:3, ESV] You can find more information about our fellowships and our weekday Bible studies on our News & Updates page and on our Education page, respectively.
